PS/2 - Installing MS Windows/286 v.2.11

So I managed to get my hands on a copy of Microsoft Windows/286 v2.11 and thought it was the perfect graphical user interface for my '89 IBM PS/2 286 machine since this is a 1989 microsoft release. OS/2 1.3 would probably be a better companion to this computer but I want to have DOS installed for games and don't know is they would run in such OS. Anyway... i'd try that system someday.

I saved images of every screen of the installation process. Have a look. I'll comment them latter. Enjoy! :)

Once upon a time we could select what computer we had... good old times!
Here is my unit! Neat!

All fine except for the keyboard layout.

Portugese??? what the hell!?? Well...since I can't find "Portuguese" I guess that's that! :/

Extended memory.. expanded memory... I don't miss that part! Memory is memory!

We changed a lot of disks back on those days!

They spell it right here!

The paint from my unit is starting to peel in some places! :(

Go on! Update it!

Memset...

Done with the instalation.

Lets go!!

Maybe not! wtf?!

WIN.COM exists but, for some reason the instalation program didn,'t update the PATH command in autoexec.bat

There it is...The boot logo! Better than today's fireworks i think.

My first windows 2 session! I like it! I mean it!
